Bio
There must have be something in the waters of New Jersey that gives birth to people like to Matt Cavanaugh. His work is a visual reflection of the tales of youth, survival, and real life. These works are both his vengeance and his love. Strong story telling can be seen as the glue for his illustrations and visual vocabulary. Matt’s work although varying in mediums and formats always has a distinct texture. These textures bleed from the harsh realities of the outside world, yet explode with the cry of youthfulness demanding to be heard.
As the road is long, Matt continues to be the searcher, with open eyes and eager ears.
