Background |
Matt Cavanaugh was born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey. This east coast native has been developing a creative outlook and aesthetics since early childhood. His training in Illustration and design has led him to work with varied professional clients and collaborators throughout his college and post graduate experiences. |
Creative Services |
Launched in 2008, MCavanaugh Creative Services continues to assist clients in a collaboration that not only solves a clients needs but also puts engaging visual work out into the world. Services include printed matter from posters to periodical formats and all things in between and beyond. |

Fine Artist & Gallery Assistant

In addition to working as professional commercial artist Matt has been involved in creating fine art illustrations for gallery based exhibits since 2005.
In 2009, Matt was involved in organizing various gallery exhibitions with The Autumn Society collective of Philadelphia. In the inaugural year, gallery exhibits where co-developed for artist to share their work in and around the Philadelphia area. While associated with the group, Matt assisted in providing direction and managing multiple artistic personalities to arrive at unified goals. |
Community Involvement

Matt has been involved with community based art projects, since his teenage high school years where he developed and completed mural paintings for his school community. Since then he evolved to larger community based projects. A notable project, includes 2006′s dual murals for the community of Lindenwold, New Jersey. In 2009 Matt started organizing the production of artists to make “Winter Holiday” themed coloring books for children at child care centers in New Jersey and in Philadelphia, Pa. The books are currently connecting up and coming young artists with the communities where they live and work. |

Matt Cavanaugh’s first web presence began in the spring of 2003. At first it began as mail-order website selling T-shirts designed by Matt. Since then it has evolved into an ever-changing portfolio site, showcasing his various creative ventures.

Interest
|
Outside of the studio, Matt is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, win or lose. He also finds himself waking up at the crack of dawn on weekends to catch the latest English Premier League Soccer games. Matt also enjoys reading comics and fiction novels. |
