East Meets East Exhibit 2010
At long last, here is my official recap of the EAST MEETS EAST exhibit that I co-curated with The Autumn Society and AxD Gallery of Philadelphia.

East Meets East featured 10 aspiring young Philadelphia area artist who have created illustrations in a variety of mediums and visual languages, from traditional paintings to digital drawings. The images created for East Meets East focused on developing a visual commentary on the impact of Japanese pop culture on our contemporary American culture, and vice versa.
The shows opening had a great crowd and the work looked great not to mention plenty of Japanese treats such as Pocky and Sapporo beer were provided to the guest.
